Summary:
The Respondent was found to have failed Building Consent Inspections numerous times. He also failed to provide adequate supervision of subcontractors to ensure the work was completed in accordance with good practice, and materials were inappropriately substituted. The Respondent also did not provide a record of work because he considered he had not completed the work, but from the evidence it was clear that his involvement in the work was complete. The Respondent is ordered to pay a fine of $1,500 and costs of $1,500.
