COVID-19 Update

The LBP scheme is still operating under COVID-19 alert level 4, however our processing capacity has reduced due to various constraints. We are working on completing licensing renewals completed via the online portal. We may take longer than usual to process anything received via post or courier. Please expect delays and contact us only in urgent circumstances.

Accessing your online account (RealMe)

If you are unable to access your online account (RealMe), here are a few tips that may help:

  • If you don’t know the RealMe username you used last time, you can click “Forgot Username” on the RealMe login page.
  • If you know the RealMe username but not the password, you can click “Forgot Password” on the RealMe login page.
  • Our system will be linked to the last RealMe you logged in with. You should not create a new RealMe every time you log in if possible.
  • If you are being asked to enter an activation code, the system is trying to link up with a new RealMe. If this is the case, try to log in with the RealMe you used last time you logged in.
  • If you are unable to self-serve through the above options and our contact centre is unavailable, you may be able to get assistance from the RealMe helpdesk.
  • If you are completely unable to get into your previous RealMe, we may be able to reconfigure your record in our system to allow you to log in with a new RealMe, however, this is a manual process. Please note that we are experiencing high volumes and low accessibility to systems, so it may take some time before we can respond to your request.
  • If you’re still having issues accessing your account, contact us or the RealMe helpdesk.

Licensing

As normal regulatory processes still apply, you should submit your renewals as normal via online services for automatic processing to avoid your licence being suspended.

In order to complete an application, payment must be made at the same time. If you have concerns about your business and cash flow, the government has information about financial support packages on the Covid-19 website

Skills Maintenance

If you are close to your licence renewal date and have not completed your skills maintenance requirements please contact us. When you contact us you will need to advise why your skills maintenance has not been completed and the steps you have taken to complete it. We will consider what relief can be provided on a case by case basis and will advise the steps you should take to complete your relicensing as appropriate.
