Recovering your username and/or resetting your password for your Microsoft account

1. On https://www.lbp.govt.nz, click the Login button at the top right corner of the screen. This will take you to the Welcome to the LBP Portal page.

2. On this page, click the Sign in with Microsoft button. This will take you to the Microsoft Sign-In page.

3. On this page, enter the email address or phone number for your Microsoft account, then click the Next button.
   • If you have forgotten your email address or phone number, click on Sign-in options towards the bottom of the page, then select the Forgot my username option.
   • This will prompt you to enter the recovery details for your account.

4. If you enter an email address or phone number, this will take you to the Enter password page. You will then be asked to enter your password.
   • If you have forgotten your password, click on the Forgot Password? link.
   • You’ll be asked to verify your identity so that you can reset your password.
